BACK IN NYC

Posted on May 12, 2018 | 0 comments

Hey All!   SO happy to have spent this week in NYC auditioning, reconnecting with old friends and reminding myself that there is no place like home. For whatever reasons, this CO born man loves NYC and misses his 8 years of off and on living here. Was it a struggle? Yes. Was it always sunshine, rainbows and unicorns? No. BUT – there is an energy here. There is a multi-cultural aspect here of a shared experience that I just haven’t found anywhere else. Can’t explain it, don’t need to. I just know that I love it. Discovered a couple new things while I was here this week. The High Line (who knew), the roof top bar at YOTEL in Hell’s Kitchen, and Anejo – an amazing restaurant also in Hell’s Kitchen. The capper is, I also got to see Hello Dolly, so there’s that. Great classic Broadway show. So, lots of good stuff for a few days. Now, it’s time to prep for Italy. Leaving two weeks from Tuesday. Can’t afford it, but it’s happening. Life. Is....

Up Next…

Hey Cats! Well, we did it. The Company Men retro-pop mash-up group has officially complete their contract on board the Norwegian Cruise Line Escape. It was a great 12 weeks with a million new fans and a complete sell out of our CD’s. So, yay for that. Next up for me? Time for my annual summer gig fest in Europa with my sister…ending with a bonus vacation in Norway. How awesome is that? Then back to The Company Men in August on board the NCL Pride of America sailing out of Hawaii. Short contract there – only 7 weeks. Heading to NYC next week to audition to fill in the gaps. Things are happening right now and it’s an exciting time to be a singer in the world. I believe. I’ll try to be more regular about the blogging. Hope all are well. Smooches! Miles...

2018 ROCKS! The Company Men Gig…

Posted on Jan 17, 2018 | 0 comments

Hello Peeps!   Well, it’s been such a busy end if 2017 and beginning of 2018, I have neglected anyone that actually checks in to this website (new version of this coming in the summer of 2018, I hope) – and I’m sorry. So, in late December I was offered a great gig with a four man group called The Company Men: The Company Men. A group of four amazing dudes that basically do retro-pop mash-ups. Imagine the Platters and Katy Perry songs put together in one glorious performance moment. With dancing. Lots of dancing. Anyway, I have just returned from L.A. where I learned the shows and in two days I leave because this awesome collection of dudes is headed onto the Norwegian Cruise Lines “Escape” ship. So, I’ll be avoiding all of winter and singing on this ship from Jan 20 – Apr 14. Should be an amazing experience. I am still practicing my fancy dance moves, but all in all, I am ready. Come visit! The ship sails out of Miami! I should be able to start posting gigs about the summer in Italy (yes another one) in mid-March. 2018 rocks!...

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR…

Posted on Dec 4, 2017 | 0 comments

Hello World! It’s been a few months since I’ve hopped on here and uttered even one word. Perche? Because when I returned from my summer of making music in Italia with The Downbeat Trio, I had to focus on what…MOOLA! So, I’ve been working at Orange Theory and then briefly at LA Fitness (hated it) in sales. Well, now I’m back, dipping my toes back into music and trying to figure out how to combine my passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals with music. I have been talking about making my EP forever, but I can’t quite seem to find the style and writing partners I desire, so I’m going to have to double down on trying to figure out exactly where I want to go, creating the songs, and then finding someone who gets on board with my ideas. In other words, I realize I need to drive the train from song inspiration all the way to a finished jam. Hook, line, and sinker. As for the fitness, I am realizing that I much prefer working one on one for myself and so I am recommitting to my Fatty Fitness business and looking for some work with private companies to subsidize. It’s a struggle, but I will figure it out. So, that’s where things stand. This will be the first holidays season in 5 years not spent in Europe gigging and it is surreal to just be here, but this is home now and I must figure it out. I. Can. Do. It. I’ll try to get on here and blog more frequently. As a side bar: I wanted to change my website to something more musically modern and bright, but the cost was outta control, so for now, this dark, jazzy site will just have to do. Mad Lurve to...

Road Trip!

Posted on Sep 5, 2017 | 0 comments

Hey All! Just a quick update from Chicago. After an amazingly gigtastic summer in Italy, I am back in Chicago, but the good news is…The Downbeat Trio has an amazing gig in Boulder, CO at the Jaipur Literature Festival on Saturday, September 16th. We are the headliners…well…and it should be well attended. Super psyched to head to my home town and gig with my sister and Marco Cremeschini! It. Is. On. http://jaipurliteraturefestival.org/boulder/music/...
